CHICKEN OF THE WOODS
Leatiporus sulphureus, or the Chicken fungus, Chicken of the woods is an easily recognizable, brightly colored fungus that is often found in clusters. The fungus grows in large brackets on trees, mostly oak, that are either living or decaying, causing a reddish-brown heart-rot of wood. If the mushrooms are seen fruiting, you can be sure that the fungus has already attacked the tree. Laetiporus sulphureus has a lemony, meaty taste. Some think it tastes like its chicken namesake; others describe the flavor as being more like crab or lobster. Whatever your opinion, the Chicken fungus makes a great substitute for meat in almost any dish.

With this order you will receive one sterile syringe containing 10-12mL of fresh, live, and healthy mycelium thriving in our proprietary formula with the perfect balance of sugars and nutrients that are carefully assembled in a process that results in a pure, crystal clear, highly nutritious sterile solution with no sediment, debris, or other contaminants.
