GOLDEN CHANTERELLE
Golden Chanterelle Es-3 (Cantharellus cibarius) Es-3 is one of our European strains of Golden Chanterelle. They are smaller in size to their North American cousins but are considered superior by many. They are firm, meaty, golden mushrooms. Their sturdy texture makes them exceptionally versatile with an earthy, peppery flavor offset by a sweet, fruity undertone often compared to apricots. They work beautifully in virtually any recipe that calls for mushrooms, but are lovely in butter or cream, where their flavor profile is amplified and absorbed by anything served alongside them. Chefs worldwide love them because their small size means they can be served whole, enhancing the presentation of any dish.

Chanterelles cannot be grown indoors, they are mycorrhizal and must form a relationship with conifer trees. Use this liquid culture to create grain spawn and bury it in holes near Conifer trees. If conditions are favorable you will have beautiful and delicious chanterelles the next season. It can sometimes take years or even decades for chanterelles to establish.
